Notes on the visit
- The mill is driven by wind power: If the wind is too weak or too strong, the blades stand still.
- In the event of severe weather, access to the platform is (temporarily) closed.
- Unfortunately, the museum is not barrier-free: it is located on a hill (uneven stone floor) and the exhibition on the upper floors is only accessible via a spiral staircase.

- There are no checkrooms or lockers (the temperatures in the upper exhibition areas are low at cooler times of the year).
- Seating is available on every floor.
- Audio guides are not available.
- Foreign language translations of the exhibition texts can be found at the media stations. The current offer: English, Polish, Spanish.
- The toilet areas are located at the visitor center at the foot of the mound.
- No in-house catering: We sell bread and poppy seed sticks made from our own mill flour, as well as snacks in the form of cookies and jelly babies. We also sell various drinks, also chilled.
- Dogs are not allowed in the exhibition area, as the museum also has a food production area. They must be kept on a lead on the first floor (museum store).
- Children under the age of 14 may only visit the exhibition if accompanied by an adult.
